'NYT' and Murdoch: The Plot Thickens

Murdoch We posted a few days ago about Michael Calderone at Politico printing a brief excerpt from the new Michael Wolff bio of Rupert Murdoch, out today.  This morning, the NYT ran a fairly negative review of the book, accusing Wolff of being both too kind to the mogul and also not really getting the inside story.  Now Calderone returns to cover a flare-up over one part of the book. It alleges that the NYT killed a critical series about Murdoch due to pressure from News Corp.  The NYT denies that.  It's all here. UPDATE:  Wolff bites back at Newser.com, saying he was disapponted by negative NYT review of book: "He's just loathsome -- not least of all, it's fair to assume, because Murdoch is the most likely buyer of the beleaguered Times."
