Sarah Palin a Towelhead? And Spending Spree Far Worse Than Reported
From Newsweek's every-four-years report today on what really went on during the campaign (they are given special access and agree not to publish a word until after the voting) comes this vignette on Sarah Palin greeting McCain team in nothing but a towel around her bod and another over her hair. Also, the real dope on her clothes shopping spree, which far exceeded even what reported, including $20,000 to $40,000 just on the erstwhile First Dude. One aide estimated that she spent "tens of thousands" more than
the reported $150,000, and that $20,000 to $40,000 went to buy clothes
for her husband. Some articles of clothing have apparently been lost.
An angry aide characterized the shopping spree as "Wasilla hillbillies
looting Neiman Marcus from coast to coast," and said the truth will
eventually come out when the Republican Party audits its books.-- Greg Mitchell
I'm amazed by the incredible amount of public interest in Sarah Palin. Good or bad, she's become somewhat of a pop icon. People are dressing like her to be and/or mock her all at the same time.
For instance, I found this video on dressing like Palin:
