Obama Will Win in Landslide--At Least Based on Newspaper Endorsements

Democbutton_l Before you laugh too much, consider that in 2004, also on election eve, I correctly predicted the winner in 14 of the 15 "toss-up" states -- based PURELY on newspaper endorsements.  Now I've risked doing it again, predicting by the same dubious measure that Obama will win 11 of the 13 battlegrounds.   Meanwhile, The New York Times has a very cool interactive feature which tracks who the paper endorsed for president from 1860  to now. Also provided: the actual editorials and who won. -- Greg Mitchell
