Meet the First Female Vice President

At least in Gail Collins' fantasy today.  She suggests that Bush end his lame duck era early by resigning -- after Cheney quits first (can't trust that guy).  This would make Nancy Pelosi president for two months, though she would defer to Obama completely.  Not a serious idea but....tempting....Of course, Obama would probably not want to take over before the economy gets even worse.  Let Bush get all the blame.
