Press Banned from Palin Meetings

Much uproar in the media todagy over decision by McCain campaign to virtually ban press from observing Sarah Palin's (first) meetings with foreign leaders at the U.N.   Eventually one CNN camera and prdoucer were allowed in (kicking and screaming) but zero print.  Here is the AP account but much more in a backlash vein out there now. Here's NYT account, too.  In another area, apparently bowing to media complaints, McCain has now set his first press conference in well over a month.
